Since the app update that removed the all day sync on/off option, my Fitbit One has been draining the battery faster every recharge cycle. It used to last about a week, it now lasts about half that long. How can this be fixed?

Baltoscott...my One battery charge lasted 7 days since removing/re-adding my One to the app after the dreadful FitBit app update. The battery was at about 50% on Day 5 and then was depleted by Day 7. My FitBit One lives on!

Many thanks Baltoscott for your contribution and advice. I removed my One and then added it back. After a day, I still have 95% charge record. Absolutely incredible! It just goes to show that it was not a battery problem but a software one. Well done to you and the forum and shame on Fitbit!

Same here...my battery started draining such that I had to charge it every other day. I finally decided to keep the Fitbit app on my phone closed when not using it and now I am on Day 4 and still have a full charge on my One. I only keep the app open in the background when I’m trying to log or track an activity, or when logging food. After I’m done and it syncs, I close the app.
