Hello everyone!
I purchased my Fitbit One a month ago. I've been using it almost everyday and got up to 5 day battery life within the first week. After the first week, I noticed the battery has been draining very fast. It's been 3 days since I last charged it and the battery has died on me (plus not using it on Monday). I'm not sure if it matters, but I never have bluetooth running the entire day. I sync 1-2 times each day and I don't use it to track sleep. I've read around the forum and I'm going to reset the device and test it for another week to see if that helps. Is there anything else that may be causing this battery drain I'm not aware of? If the device is defected, is it too late to get the device replaced? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Community @twofoottu! I have seen some instances where users are charging the device incorrectly; you should double check the charging instructions. Battery life is affected by various factors and settings. Take a look to the tips for preventing battery drain. All Fitbit trackers have an one year warranty from the day that you very first paired it to your account, so if the issue persists, please be sure to reach out to our Support Team. I know that they're always happy to listen to your experience and provide different options for you, if needed!
I hope this helps. Let me know the outcome.

Thanks for responding Peter! Do you know if there is a difference between charging on the laptop and an outlet? I mainly charge via outlet, but I charged a full bar yesterday on my laptop. I'll update again when the battery is dying.

You're welcome @twofoottu! There's no difference as long as you're using an powered hub, or power supply that is certified by a recognized testing laboratory.
Keep me updated.

Hi Twofoottu, Good luck and pls let me know how it goes. I am considering getting the Fitbit One in addition to my Charge HR. At times, it is simply more convenient for me to have a Fitbit in my pocket than to wear one all the time.

I think there might be a problem with my device. I've read the articles you linked for me and I'm up to speed with the information. Today is the second day since I last charged it yesterday midnight. I just turned on bluetooth to connect my data and it shows my battery life at 50%. Not sure what to do at this point.

Hi gonfreaksss! Unfortunately I'm having problems with the battery and I may need to call customer service for a fix. Other than that, I'm really enjoying the Fitbit One. It is very convenient because it clips on to anything with a very strong and tight hold. I have not had a problem with it falling off with everyday use or moderate to intensive workouts.

Hi again twofoottu! I am sorry you haven't gotten the battery life issue sorted out. From my experience, Fitbit customer service is quite good. But it is still a hassle to have to call them...
Thanks for your detailed feedback. I really do enjoy the idea of having a Fitbit. I got my Charge HR from my sister as a gift. At first, I was like, what kind of a gift is this? But we had friends and family wearing it as well, so I caved and began wearing it for the weekend competitions.
I've managed to shed a few extra lbs wearing my Fitbit, but I know if I were more consistent with it, I'd lose a lot more. I am glad you are enjoying your Fitbit One... and it's good to know about the durable clip! 😄
Again, hope your battery issue is resolved soon.
