Can't Find Sleep Settings on Dashboard

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just bought and set up my fitbit one.   I've bought it primarily to track my sleep.   I'd like to set the sleep settings to sensitive to track the most amount of data.  I've searched all over the dashboard and can't find anywhere to set this setting.   I found one article on the forum that said to check under the gear icon.   I did this, but there's nothing there about normal vs sensitive tracking.   Any help or guidance is appreciated.   Thanks.

@bluemoves It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community! To change the sleep settings you need to go to your online dashboard's settings. Once there, you will be able to change the sleep setting to sensitive under the "Sleep Tracking" option.

Additionally, check this post to check what the sleep settings definitions! Smiley Very Happy

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you for your post, however I'm still confused.   I went to my online dashboard and there's nothing about changing the sleep setting.   The only thing that addresses sleep on the online dashboard is a tile that says "Sleep: How Well Do You Sleep"  And then it has a "learn more" button, and a "no thanks" button.   When I click on the "learn more" button, it takes me to a link that talks about how to put my fitbit in sleep mood.   Which brings me to my second question:

According to the directions, all I need to do to track my sleep is start the timer on my fitbit.   However, I tried that last night, and no sleep data was updated to my dashboard.   However, my fitbit is syncing and tracking everything else (steps, stairs, etc).   I followed the directions for tracking sleep and it didn't work.

I must admit that this is getting frustrating.   Tracking my sleep was the only reason I bought the fitbit, and after two days, I haven't figured out how to make this work.  If I can't get it to work soon, I'm likely going to return it to amazon.   Any additional help is appreciated.  Thank you.

Ok, a few minutes after I posted my last response, I found something on the dashbaord that looks like a backstage area.   I was able change the setting to sensitive there.   Thank you for your guidance.

I'm going to try the sleep tracking on my fitbit again tonight.   Hopefully it will work.  🙂

@bluemoves Thanks for your reply! I'm very glad to hear that you were able to find the option to change the sleep settings. Hopefully, that will give you more accurate and detailed data regarding your sleep.

In the meanwhile you try that option, check the Sleep Better Board on the Discussions. This board includes a lot of interesting things and experiences regarding sleep. I think you will find that useful!

Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
