Can't download Fitbit app to iPhone 4 ios7

I've just purchased a Fitbit One and can't download the Fitbit app to my iPhone 4. Phone says I need ios8.
Is there a way around this as I can't seem to upgrade phone to ios8. It has ios7.

If it's the iPhone 4 rather than the iPhone 4S you have then your bigger problem might be that there is a hardware limitation that means you can't use your phone to sync.

 

Do you have access to a computer to setup and sync your One? If so, then your phone should still be able to access the latest data synced via the computer.
