Changed my fitbit one with my husband's How do I use his on my dashboard?

My fitbit one went through the wash.  My husband is giving me his, but I can't figure out how to make it work with my existing dashboard.  Do I need to start a whole new profile and use his name or what?

In the app, go into the settings (the thing that looks like a card at the top right). Tap on the line for the One, then go to the bottom and say Remove This One. Then go back to the account page and tap Set up a Device, and add the new One to your existing account.

Please make sure you DH Sync it before giving it to you as you might get his info copied over if he does not

Thanks for replying to my question.  My dashboard didn't match with your tips so it wasn't helpful for me.  Maybe my dashboard is too old or needs ab update!?! I did find an answer that got me set up.  Thanks again for your time
