Checking charge levels with no access to a computer or phone

Hi, I am wondering how to keep my fitbit one charged while away from home.  From reading the forums I have found that I should just be able to use a cell phone wall socket, which should not be a problem.]

However from what I have seen it is possible to check the charge level by plugging the unit in to charge; but is it possilbe to find out the charge level while the unit is not plugged in.   Unfortunately I have a "stupid", not smart enough for fitbit as it is too old to sync with whatever version of bluetooth they use.

Thanks for any advice.

I don't think you can show the battery level without either charging or checking the app / web following a sync.

As the battery on mine lasts more than a week what I do is charge it on a weekly schedule. It gets charged every Saturday morning regardless of how much charge is left. This way I never have to worry about it running out of power.

If you are away from home for some while and may not be able to sync don't forget that the One only has enough memory to hold 7 days of detailed data between syncs. There's more information on travelling with a fitbit here:
