Does removing my One from the app account cause previous data loss ?

Hi all,

 

I use the One since somewhere around summer 2015 and now purchased the Charge 2 as I was intrested in the HR function and also wanted to see my stairs (which the Alta HR doesn't support)

 

At the moment my account show both and I wonder if I might sell/give my One to someone else, I understand that they can use it in their account and the One will be reset and start working for them.

 

But, will my previous data, that I now still see in my account recorded by the One since I used it, stay available for me or will it be deleted from my account ?

 

I'm not sure about selling/giving it to someone else yet as I someday might not want to wear the charge (like on sunny days to prevent getting a tan around the charge 2... I didn't wear anything like a watch or such since many years Smiley Wink )

 

Also, can I switch my One off as it now still gets synchronised even tho it's in a drawer.

All your data is held safely on the fitbit servers so if you were to remove the One from your account it will still be there along with your badges, settings etc.

 

Not all of the fitbit models can be turned off but the One can. The instructions can be found here:
