So my new beagle decided to chow down on my One the other day. Fortunately, he only swallowed the silicone of the holder an that came back up later. But he put a dent in the back of the case and the display has gotten progressively lighter, until now I can barely see it. Fortunately, I can still use it for sleep tracking as the haptics are working fine. Any idea what might have been damaged and if it can be salvaged?

Beyond economical repair Ringo, too bad snoopy can't get called on his action - gotta love'em no matter what. One's are tough to find these days; but could be an opportunity to move to one of the newer models, keep in mind when you add another tracker to your account the history remains so keep the dog chew at hand while you look over the options 😉
You may have lost a classic; but still have a furry best bud. I'm confident he looks reaaaal sorry.

I suppose I should have more clearly stated my question.
What I was wondering is: what would cause the OLED display to slowly lose brightness? If it's something that can be fixed, I'm willing to try.

@Ringo67 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for taking the time to post the situation you have experienced with your Fitbit One. It's unfortunate to read that it got damaged, puppies can be very naughty.
Currently, there are no repair centers or any service that will help you repair it from Fitbit's side. However, I went ahead and created a case wit customer support in your behalf. That way you can check what options you have at this point. Keep an eye on your email inbox for next steps.
@wmchapman Thank you very much for sharing your experience and help on this thread. It is very appreciated!
