Fitbit One charged but not able to see stats on display

My Fitbit One is charged and illuminates when in dongle.  When I take it off it does not turn on or display anything.  Have tried rebooting multiple times, hold button for 10-15 seconds until message Fitbit 6.64 comes on.  It does sync.  Have uninstalled Connect several times and re installed. Brand new but never been activated.

@Papashaffe @S403 if the display only turns on when plugged in, the circuitry is working but your battery has died. Batteries generally last 3-4 years and can be replaced. Here's a link to a step-by-step battery replacement guide in this forum that may help you. Cheers!
