I'm new to the community. If this has been discussed before, I apologize.
First, let me say that I LOVE my tracker, and Fitbit has been super responsive to my various questions and concerns over the years.
But...I recently lost my second Fitbit One because it fell out of its clip. I have been paranoid about this, and when I first got my One in 2012, I attached a leash to the clip which attaches to my waistband with a metal alligator type clamp. I have also put double sided tape on the back of the tracker in an attempt to hold it in place. After I lost the first tracker a couple years ago, I began wearing it with the clip facing out and the tracker to the inside of my waistband to help keep it secure. I have also added a Tile GPS tracker to the leash. And, I sometimes actually put tape all the way around the tracker and case (tricky to do, messy and has to be redone each time I charge the little thing) to keep it in. All to no avail. A couple days ago, I came home from work and noticed that my clip was...EMPTY!
The company has been really great and is replacing my lost One, again.
My questions are: Has anyone else had this problem?
Does anyone have a solution I haven't tried?
Is Fitbit working on a better / more secure clip system?
I feel a little guilty that I've asked the company to replace my tracker, but I really believe that I have done as much as I can to keep from losing it (short of keeping in my sock drawer) and thta the loss is due to faulty design or unsuitable materials in the clip.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hello @UnaMargarita, a warm welcome to our Community. Bitter sweat news I must say because your One was lost, but the good part is that you received a replacement.
Despite I haven't experienced this issue; after reading your post, I believe you have gone the extra mile trying different methods to secure your tracker. I always recommend attaching the beltclip, so that the display face your body for maximum security, this is one of the best solutions. Over the time I've seen this happen to other users for different reason, it can be for usage or for the constant insertion at the moment to charge the tracker.
The new generation of trackers implemented a new way to secure them, due to the feedback and for the commodity of the user. However the new design focus more on the wristband type and so far, I haven't heard any new updates about a new versions for the beltclip design.
If I received any additional update, I will let you know. Keep me posted if you have more questions.

Hi there @UnaMargarita, that's awesome, I'm happy to know you found other solutions and definitely I will pass your feedback about the belt clip issues. I can understand that for some user are more convenient a belt clip type tracker than a wristband.
If you have more questions don hesitate to return to our Community, catch ya later.

I too am not a wrist person & have struggled with the One popping out of the belt clip. I've been fortunate on many occaisions to have heard it when it hit the floor, that is all the way up to the last time 10 weeks ago. I searched & searched & now have had to purchase a replacement for my One so any improvements to the belt clip would be great.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to get my new one to sync with my old account. I'm sure I'll figure it out but just wanted to echo the sentiments on the belt clip issue.

To add to the suggestions from @RobertoME I would add that I clip my One to my pocket with the One facing inwards so that if it falls out then it just falls into my pocket. Having said that it has yet to fall out in the 3 years I've had it.
I've also noticed that the official fitbit One holder seems a lot more rigid than some of the 3rd party clips I have used and consider them to be less secure.
