My Fitbit One has stopped working. I have tried restarting it, and when I switch it back on I get a screen saying Fitbit 6.60 then nothing. Does anyone one know the solution to this problem?

This same thing just happened to my Fitbit One. It synced but it will not show any information on the screen.

The same thing has happened to me.  My Fitbit one is charged, but it keeps switching off.  When I switch it on it says Fitbit 6.60 and then switches of again almost immediately.

This morning when I woke up it was stuck at yesterday morning and I recorded no steps for yesterday.

I have tried restarting but that doesn't work.  Please can someone help?  Thanks.

I spoke to customer support and because my Fitbit is out of warranty there is nothing they can do

Oh no - that is really bad.  I am sorry to hear it.  I was hoping a factory re-set could fix it, but wanted to speak to support staff first.

It was suggested to:

  1. Try cleaning the contacts by using a toothpick or toothbrush: do not scrape them with anything metal because this can damage the charging contacts and result in corrosion.
  2. Try a different USB port or UL-certified wall charger. Do not use a USB hub.
  3. Restart your tracker again:
  • Plug your charging cable into your computer.
  • Plug your Fitbit One™ tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
  • Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds.
  • Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on.
