I lost my Fitbit One, and purchased another one to replace the lost one. After setting up the new Fitbit One, I've found that this new one is extremely quirky.
I've found that it sometimes will not track steps, distance or floors climbed, but the calories I'm "burning" is pretty impressive, and the flower is almost always fully grown. I've reset the Fitbit twice, and am still having the same problem.
I fully charged the Fitbit on Saturday, and wore it while exploring some new hiking areas on Monday--it tracked zero steps, zero distance and zero floors climbed, 24,850 calories burned, and 1,440 activity minutes. Frustrated, I took it off and stowed it in my pack. On Tuesday and Wednesday, it still showed no steps, distance or floors climbed, but 25,409 calories burned and 1,437 activity minutes and 22,596 calories burned and 1,297 activity minutes respectively, and it's now showing it has a low battery, even though it was charged less than a week ago (although I do see that this may be due to a iOS update).
So, is anyone else having a problem with their Fitbit not tracking steps, distance or floors climbed, while burning an incredible amount of calories and activity minutes? I know the calories burned and activity numbers aren't even close to accurate! Resetting the Fitbit does not seem to be helping. It will work fine for a day or two, and then it stops tracking again.

I would contact support since Restarting is not helping

After 4 years of great service, my Fitbit One abruptly stopped recording most of my steps. I have always carried the device in my pocket. The problem with tracking occurred at the same time I was advised to update to version 6.64. I had checked my device about 5 miles into an 8 mile run and found that the final 3 miles were not recorded. When I got home, I installed the update, turned off the device as instructed an on restarting the device have no better luck with tracking. Any ideas?
