Fitbit One not updating Community/Leaderboard steps correctly

Not sure what's changed on Fitbit side but it's been about a since I noticed the 7-day step count to be off in the Community/Leaderboard. Comparing with the 7-day graph card on dashboard it's way off. It's a bit frustrating when one is trying to reach step goals with friends.
