My Fitbit One will not sync.  It was working fine until there was an update on the App.  I use an iPhone.

Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the same issue, I just reset it and it has worked perfect ever since. I googled how to reset it but I think it was something like plug it in and then hold the button down for 10 seconds, it was real easy.

Thank You.  I will try that.  It seems to sync with my laptop but not my iPhone.

I reset the fitbit one.    It syncs with my laptop but still doesn't sync with iPhone.  The app indicated fitbit not found.  Any suggestions?

Mine won’t sync either after updating to version 3.3 yesterday. I’m also using an iPhone (iPhone 8). I’ve rebooted the device and phone twice since then, and it’s still not working. I’ve been chatting with their tech support, and so far they’ve been worthless. Their suggestion was for me to update the app.

I am having the same issue. Tried everything suggested but still will not sync to IPhone. Used wireless dongle to sync to computer but don’t even get a sync now option on app. My Bluetooth works fine on other devices so it can’t be that, either. Anyone get theirs to work? Mine stopped working last Sunday, 8/4.

I’m having an issue where it’s skipping days. Yesterday I walked ALL day and it shows no steps.

Similar—since Wednesday night when One tried to update, it won’t sync with iPhone, did all the things (restarts, turning Bluetooth off/on, etc.) over a couple of days, then did get it to sync Thursday with computer, but today (Saturday) it will only sync when connected to computer with dongle and error messages even there. Bluetooth works fine on both devices. After years with Fitbit, I’m about done,

I'm in the same position of having lost the ability to sync to iPhone since Friday, 8/1, and now can't sync to laptop as there's no device found with dongle. Not sure when update took place but guessing on Thursday night or Friday at during the day. I've done all the same: bluetooth on/off (everything else is found), turned phone on/off, turned device on/off, tried to reset device (can't find device) - all the tricks that normally work. Someone has done something to turn these off is my guess. I love mine as it's the most accurate step counting device that I have found. I've used the Fitbit products all the way up to the Ionic with my One and hands down the One was more accurate. I have an Apple Watch now, but I love the Fitbit community and like tracking my steps with my One. I hate the thought of losing those but if I have to, I guess that's life. I'd rather keep my One and Fitbit community though. The community rocks.

Agreed, @Texassunshine. I've owned a Fitbit since the Ultra and love the One. Always been able to troubleshoot with help of community, etc. But unless this is resolved quickly, I'm moving to the Apple Watch.

Hi Notlovinit. It's sounding like a technical glitch that I don't know if it will get worked out or not. After at least 30 minutes on the phone with Help Desk Support, getting no further, I was offered a discount on several other products since obviously my One is out of warranty. I said that I wanted something NOT on my wrist and was told about the new Inspire that can be used in a clip-on that you have to buy separately (less than $10 on Amazon). I checked on Amazon and Best Buy, customer ratings appear to be pretty good for a new product. There's also the Zip if you go to Amazon or Ebay (cheaper) but the ratings are lower.

I also use an Apple Watch for tracking for the many apps provided on it like: BP, phone, music, etc., but the Fitbit Community is the best and wrist trackers just don't track well.

UPDATE: (multiple string posting so pardon the repetition; want to make sure I pass this on where I've posted)

Apparently I was NOT restarting my ONE correctly and that made all the difference. I went out and checked to make sure that I was doing it correctly and found that I needed to insert it into my charging dongle, then hold the button for 10-12 seconds (which turns it off); remove it and press the button for 2-3 seconds to turn it back on. Then I returned to connecting my device and it gave me the 4-digit code and all worked.

Now to figure out how to get the correct display back; my steps, stair count, etc. have disappeared; all I have left is the cal count which the only thing that I really don't pay attention to of course! 🙂 lol

I've tried all what suggested here but still can't get mine to sync either to my iphone or my laptop.

I tried your suggest for resetting the Fitbit.  It did not work for me either.  It works for my Laptop but not my phon.  Would it be beneficial to remove the app from the phone and then reinstall it?

Update: I updated app with my wireless dongle on my computer. Uninstalled app on iPhone and reinstalled. Turned phone off and back on. Reset Fitbit with my regular cabled dongle plugged into computer, holding Fitbit button until it turned off. Took it off dongle and turned it back on. And finally after troubleshooting for 3 days, I got it back to working. It now sinks with IPhone!!!
