This seems to be an ongoing issue from what I can see around the forum.
I am about to throw this godforsaken thing out. I have had it for a few days and it won't sync at all to the phone and will only sync to the laptop if I actually take the One off, put it so that it's leaning against the dongle and then do a manual sync. It has to be that close for it to register.
The fact that it won't work with either makes me think it's the Fitbit that's the problem. I've installed and uninstalled programs, I've done resets, I've done all of the trouble-shooting suggestions and still nothing.
This is screwing up all the reasons I actually have a fitbit -- which is to do the challenges and motivate myself.
Looking back it seems like this has been an ongoing issue. Mine is a 6.60. Is that likely to be the issue? Is that an old one? I have no idea what the latest is.
For other people who have had this issue -- is anyone dealing with this now? And have any people found solutions? Because the support suggestions do nothing.

It's insane. Now the phone seems to be syncing but the Macbook doesn't recognise the wireless dongle as being connected.
The phone has synced before though and then stopped. It'll do it once randomly and then not at all. It's insane.

Cannot get my fitbit one to sync to ipad, iphone or computer!!

Same with me. This is clearly not an isolated issue with one or two people.
There has to be something wrong with the Fitbits. It's so frustrating. I can't even do a manual sync on the computer at the moment because it won't recognise the dongle. Despite the fact that I've charged and backed up my iPhone on the Macbook, so clearly the ports where I'm plugging the dongle in are working.

There's clearly a glitch with something on the Fitbit end of things. Instead of telling people to go through all the same trouble shooting every single time (none of which works) they need to fix whatever is wrong with the system.

My fitbit one stopped syncing yesterday morning and uninstalling the app on my phone isn't helping. Any ideas?
