Fitbit One won't turn on unless connected to charger

I just got my first Fitbit One (new) yesterday. Set it up and charged overnight. Was excited to try it today, but it won't turn on unless it is connected to the charger. Suggestions?

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

If that doesn't help I would take it back to where ever you got it and exchange it
