After spending 1/2 hour with the support team and trying different solutions I was offered a discount coupon and an apology. I still think the problem is on Fitbit's end but of course they won't admit it.

No but was offered a discount coupon. I told the rep he needed to tell the company as dozens were complaining. Then I thought after a while I tried the old turn the computer off and on and TADA an update for fitbit showed up and now its working. I think it was a problem on theirend.

Does the dongle just wear out?  Mine is about 4 years old and now I get "No internet connection"

Obviously the computer has connection!

I think you're right about it being a Fitbit issue and not an individual unit issue as too many people, including myself is having this problem.  My last sync was Thursday @ 6:29 PM.  I've tried all the things that usually work when syncing doesn't occur and none of them are working.

Mine won't sync either...tried customer support.  She didn't have a clue...even though I told her it said it was the server.  If it is the server then I assume the problem is on their end.  So does this mean I won't ever be able to sync up again?  If so why have a Fitbit.

I"m having the same problem.  When I try to sync, I'm told there is no internet connection. However, here I am, on the same computer, accessing the internet to complain about the problem!  It did randomly sync about a half hour ago, but it will not let me do it manually.  It is definitely on there end!

Mine stopped this morning too. However, my computer does have a bluetooth and it now works with the Win10 app. I'm not sure my older surface will. However, i use my phone on weekends most of the time now, so i guess it isnt really a big deal for me. I liked the dongle thing because it synced whenever i came near my computer. I didnt need to run no app, just look at fitbit dashboard online. Its way better than the app. Now i have to run the app and then go to the online dashboard and may notes and corrects to logs. I think the One is one of the best devices i have tested. put it on and forget it. the watches and braclets just dont have the style (yet) and they are in the way or dangerous when you do real work.
