Hi there,
I flew LA to NY the night of April 3rd and when my Fitbit automatically updated the time and location upon arrival (at 1AM EST) it counted all my previous day's steps (plus 2000 or so for some reason). I've read through a lot of forum posts with similar midnight/time zone issues and thought maybe it was just a glitch for that one day. However, today I woke up and have started the day with 13,000 steps again (13,370 + 21 floors and 5.9 miles to be exact) and I haven't even stepped out of bed. I've tried changing the time zone several times and resetting the Fitbit twice but no luck. I can't erase the existing data for this day because despite showing all those steps on the counter, when I go to the daily activity monitor it (correctly) shows "no measurements". I've traveled a lot previously, including this exact overnight flight LA to NY and although I remember having the double steps issue on the first day, I've never had it last into the second day. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I had to turn off automatically adjust time zone to fix that.  Did it a couple years back and have not had a problem since.

I live in Ohio USA but I went to Japan on business for a week recently.  I just put up with the fact that my days on fitbit were half a day off from reality while I was there, and 3 hours off while I was in California for a day.
