You might try to reset it, if you haven't already. There's a tiny spot on the back that you can push a small pin in for 30 seconds. It should help.

I wasn't talking about restarting it, but doing a reset with that little inset button in the back. You can definitely try holding the button down, too. But I had the OP's problem some time ago and restarting didn't help and someone on the forums told me about what I'd done.
And it works for the One as well as the Flex.

I thought the little hole on the back of the One was the air-pressure sensor for the floor detection. The only reset / restart option is the one @WendyB pointed out.

Hi @SteveH. Yes, the hole at the back is indeed the air intake for the altimeter. But upon checking with Technical Support way back when I first got the One, I was told that it can also be used to restart the One. My understanding is that it's a little tricky and if the object used is too sharp a point and too much force is used, the needle can go right through the case. So this might be the reason why the process is not covered anywhere in the documentation. I have never tried it myself and won't unless as a last resort. Cheers!

I didn't know that @TandemWalker. Thought the hole was altimeter only, not dual purpose. I suspect you are correct that a sharp object might damage the altimeter though, and that is a good reason not to recommend this process.

Hi @Baltoscott - I didn't know about it either. When I got the response back from the technical folks back then, my surprise was twofolds: (A) that such a small hole was sufficient to trigger the altimeter; and (B) that it could also be used to restart the One in instances when the restart process with the button repeatedly fails. I just wish it could be covered better, either in the user guide or in the help files; and it should include all the cautionary notes necessary to enable the user to do so safely. Even if it said something like "use this procedure at your own risks", it would still be beneficial to those who find themselves at a dead end. But I do know one thing for sure, after having ready posts in other threads - and that is that a regular sharp pointed needle SHOULD NOT be used. Take care!
