How do I discover the blue tooth address for my One so I can distinguish it from other Bluetooth devices in the immediate area? Also which app works best to find it via BT?
I know the darned thing is nearby because it keeps syncing however, in it's purple case, I am having difficulty locating it just by looking around.
I appreciate any help you can offer.
Thank you
Terry

I have found that any of the BT finders works well.
It will come close to where it is and then just look around that area to find it. I found mine in my shoe once. It came close to it and I looked around all the shoes there and Woot Found!
Hope you find it! Keep us posted!

Have you set an alarm on it. Its kind of hard to hear but you might hear it buzzing when it goes off

I dont know but from what you said I feel its close to the recliner. Look in the pockets and under neath. Maybe on the sides it could easily slip thru
I just know when I have lost mine I find it in strange places. Tucked under my radio by my bed, shoe, under my desk or behind it
I do hope you find it

Welcome to the Community @Pitabird! Thanks for your question regarding how you can easily find your One. Currently, the only option to find it would be to double check if it's syncing by seeing this information on the app. You can learn more about it by checking this article How do Fitbit devices sync their data?.
Thanks for your advice @WendyB! I'm sure this will help others using Fitbit One.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Update on this thread... I finally found my One today and I was right. It was no where near where the BT searches sent me. I found it in a piece of clothiing way in the back of the master closed. I had forgotten I was wearing the pants(I had actually checked three other pcs of clothing before) and it was in a pocket.
It has been completely dead for awhile now, so now I wonder how long it will take to fully charge it back to normal use. The charge bard on the One isnt showing still after being plugged into the charger on teh computer for almost an hour now.
Any ideas people?
Thanks so much of all the support last month!
Never mind folks, it just allowed me to restart it and it is working fine.
Have a great weekend all.

@Pitabird the One takes less than an hour to fully charge from a dead state. At least that's been my experience. Dauntingly, the tracker won't show any indication that it's charging (like the newer models) except if you tap the button occasionally, you'll see the bar move towards filled. Glad you found your tracker, welcome back to stepping awesomeness! Have a great weekend 😄
