How do I keep my One working?

My Fitbit One is about 8-10 years old which means Fitbit has no plans to update its firmware because they just want you to buy another one.  I just ran yesterday and it turned itself off and didn't record my steps or anything and the time was wrong.  As soon as I open the app and upload my steps, the time gets reset to the correct time and it works again.  Unfortunately, I have to upload the info with the app every day for this to work.  But then it works.

8-10 years is a century in tech. Probably time to get a new tracker. The Inspire 2 can be attached like the One with an optional clip.
