How to upgrade a One

My tracker data hasn't transferred to my laptop recently. I think it's probably because there's an "Update available" message in the bottom left hand corner.

When I try to upgrade, it fails with the message that I should disconnect any other devices with which the tracker is connected (Blutooth) but, as far as I know, my Tracker is only connected to my laptop (Windows).

Can anyone help, please?

Many people are very unhappy with the recent update ...

I have found when my One is struggling to sync, a "soft restart" often helps. Plug it into the computer via the charger, then press and hold the button for 10-12 seconds. The Fitbit site says to then remove it from the charger and press the button until it turns on (usually flashes a generic "Fitbit 6.0 or something) ... you don't lose any data, and that has resolved the issue in the past for me.

That doesn't help with your upgrade issue... but maybe could get you back syncing?  🙂

Thanks for replying.

I tried again today, without having actually changed anything, & it worked this time!
