I have to do the REconnect from the FitBit Connect like my One is new

For 2 days now, I've had to do the FitBit Connect on my computer for my One to sync.

This just started this past week.  For a week, my One would not sync. I DID all the restart options, plug in to computer with the charger, hold the button for 12 seconds, then unplug, push the One on and it would NOT sync.

I did contact support told them I did all they said to do, and it would still not sync.  I tried logging out and back in too.  Nothing.

SO I went to the files on my computer and clicked on the FitBit connect, it came up, say's Oh No! There's a problem! I click on sync, it had to search for my One, found it, then synced it.  BUT had to do it AGAIN today.

All support offered is a 25% coupon, which I have NOT recieved yet in my email and it's only good for 30 days, for my troubles.  <sigh>  Anyone else having this problem?  Thanks.

Hi @Slim. Please tell us more about your computer configuration. I've had a few occasions when my Fitbit One didn't sync. Here's what worked for me:

  1. Unplugged the Fitbit dongle.
  2. Signed-off my Fitbit account.
  3. Cleared my browser cache.
  4. Did a complete system shut-down.
  5. Rebooted and plugged the dongle back in

And it sync'd thereafter.

On a couple of occasions, I would get a screen informing that Fitbit is looking for my tracker and go on and on, and then would get an error message. I just close that window, and sign-on to my account, and the data & time stamp for my last successful sync would be like just a moment ago. So that error window, in my case, was unconsequential, likely a bug - but the One was syncing just fine.

Hope this helps. Have a nice day.
