Hello, I was happy with my one. I loved the clip because I dont like wear anything to my wrist. I loved the tracker of my steps, floors, cal... and I loved the silent alarm.
There is something like one now on fitbit trackers?
I saw the inspire 2. Someone can please tell me if this kind of tracker could be a good replacement of my one (that stops to work after years)?
Many thanks in advance!
Irma

Hi @Irmavet the Inspire 2 has an optional clip, but it doesn't recognize flights of stairs, like your One. The other styles are wrist based, but many use the pebble piece in a pouch or put it on a longer strap around their ankle.

I also don't want to wear a watch and wish I could get a new battery for my one. Angry they no longer make or support them.

If you read the forum, people want them to bring back the one.

@Barnaby21 people want to being back the One, the Zip, the Flex and so on. People always like what they are most familiar with. I miss my Blaze. The main thing is to find a style that suits you and counts those steps. Many people have gone to a service (find by searching online) that sells batteries for the One, as well as offers a service to install them. That might be something you'd like to try.

Blaze. It has all the features you can think of, and is water resistant for 20+ meters.

Hi @DylanPritsker remember, the Blaze was discontinued a few years ago. As for water and the Blaze, it is water resistant and the user manual says not to swim or shower with it. Page 34 - click to read it.

It isn’t about style, it is about functionality. There isn’t a small clip tracker that does everything the One does. Everything else is inferior.

Think they made a mistake. I don't want a bracelet or limited functionality.

I agree: stop the fitbit one was a big mistake. If I could buy again the one, I'll don't wait a minute to take it. Meanwhile I wait...

Thank you for the information on possibly finding and replacing my One battery. I had wondered if that was a possibility or if it was just a disposable item. I have had my One for 7 years and I love it! Unfortunately the battery is on it's last leg and I have to charge it every day or two. I purchased a wrist tracker from another company that was less expensive but the step accuracy is way off even after I adjusted my stride plus it won't sync with My Fitness Pal. If I can't get my One repaired I will try to purchase a new One from Amazon or Ebay. If that doesn't work then I will go for a Minion FitBit. Thanks again!!

@SavhPeach so many love their One. I just checked and Amazon is selling them for $415 when they were about $119 new. Prices on eBay are a bit more reasonable, but be sure you can return it, just in case.

@Irmavet "was a big mistake"? Were you employed by Fitbit during the decision to end this product and can enlighten us with some inside information? Otherwise, I'm sure they considered its business impact and made the best choice for their needs. As I'm not an employee with confidential reasons they'd discontinued it, I'm going to speculate that it's due to patented technologies inside the device itself. There are many different manufacturers involved in the creation of Fitbits. If you keep waiting, it won't make them change their minds. I'm sure folks have already threatened to hold their breath until they turned blue, LOL. Here are your 3 solutions: (1) buy a used or refurbished Fitbit One (2) buy the Inspire with a waist clip, (3) wait.

@SavhPeach if you or @Odyssey13 know a service center that repairs Ones, please PM this to me. Every day I get messages from people who want me to service their Ones and as happy as I am to walk anyone here through the process, I'm uncomfortable assuming this responsibility for others and would love to have a place to refer them to. I'd agree the Amazon pricing is insane. If you do buy on eBay, make sure they have returns available, and hopefully for free if needed.
PPS. have a lot of Fitbit Ones, LOL
21 Fitbit Ones. It's Mesmerizing!
