I think my fitbit one is overestimating calories

So i have just got home after being out since half 8 and my fitbit says ive walked almost 9000 steps.

I did three bus journeys in this time, have added them to the activity log and there is now gaps in my chart so i assume they have been removed. But for atleast 30 minutes it says i have walked over 500 steps every five minutes which seems way over what i think i actually did. Yes i was walking in the time, i walked about 1 mile in 20 minutes or so but surely that does not mean i walked 100 steps a minute?

I wear the fit bit clipped onto my bra is that makes a difference. Thanks

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @getfitliz Smiley Very HappyTypically, your data will be recalculated if you manually log an activity as the manually logged activity takes precedence over the data tracked while wearing your tracker at that point in time. For example, if I am wearing my One and walking and I reach 10,000 steps, then I go to the computer and manually log an activity that starts and ends at that point in time for say 1 hour, Fitbit will calculate how many steps you took and it may bring my step count to something below 10,000 steps. To clarify, activities should only be manually logged when you forget to wear your One

Hope this helps!
