Is my step count inaccurate when wearing my One in the wristband?

I love seeing over 14,000 steps on my One today and I was really working hard raking leaves.  However, it has been my experience that my fitbit One, if worn in my pocket, does not register so many steps.  No pockets so I was wearing it in my wristband.

Should I just be happy about it?

If you wear your One in the wristband it's likely that the steps, distance, calories and active minutes tracked will be inaccurate.

The problem is that the One is designed to worn close to the torso. It assumes that's where it is and thinks that any movement it detects is movement of your torso. When on your your wrist this movement is much more exaggerated - as will be your statistics.

The wrist band is really only meant to be used for sleep tracking.
