Lost Fitbit One. Silicone wristband?

I lost my Fitbit One a week ago and I feel like I've lost my best friend. 😢 I had considered buying an Alta because it's not as bulky as the other wrist models. But, it doesn't count flights of stairs so that's out. I've decided on another One because I loved my other despite having two clips disintegrate on me. My question is this: has anyone tried any of the silicone One wristbands? I plan to still primarily use the waistband clip but in certain circumstances a wristband might come in handy. Is it accurate, comfortable, cheaply made? Will it make my skin break out? Any thoughts or experiences greatly appreciated.

Hi @PenniLess

Fitbit also released the new Fitbit Blaze, it's a tracker to be worn on the wrist though has a more secure wristband like a watch, exchangeable bands (as the Alta & Flex), a coloured screen, not bulky, able to see all stats on one screen, it's able to track certain exercises automatically (walking, running, outdoor bike, elleptical, sport & Aerobic Workout), the treshold can be set from 10 minutes up to 90 minutes or set to ignored.. on the trackers settings page on your fitbit account (when the tracker is linked to the account).

If for example setting walking to 10 minutes, any walks below 10 minutes will not be picked up, but when walking at least 10 minutes or more it's picked up by the tracker and automatically appears on the account after sync'ing.

There's also preconfigured exercises on the the tracker which can be changed on the account (and re-arrange the order), so it's possible to start a certain activity manually from the tracker as well.

It also has several Fitstar workouts directly on the tracker and can count floors. Cat Embarassed

If you have an iPhone . Get LightBlue app. It found my fit bit in 4 minuets!! It had been lost for a week. The app looks for Bluetooth . Walk around areas I house , drawers, laundry room etc. The bar increases as you get close to your fit bit.

Hi PenniLess,

I found a Fitbit One at a park a few days ago. I contacted Fitbit support and will be shipping it to them tomorrow so they can contact the owner. I hope it's yours and you get it back 🙂

Ha! I run a campground and that's where I lost it. Good on ya for sending that One back so the owner can get it back.

Interesting but I'm always wary of apps.

I have my Fitbit One in a silicone wristband.  I love it.  I found I would leave my One in pockets, on shorts, etc. Now it stays on my wrist day and night.

I am wondering though if it is measuring my steps differently.  I walked today 5.4 miles with a friend.  Her fit bit surge gave us completly different numbers and my Iphone health app was 2400 more steps than my One.

Cant seeem to figure out why the difference.

I just found my One after NINE months! Reunited and it feels so good. I was on the verge of buying an Alta, and I might still. I had borrowed my daughter's Flex and it was okay, but my One has my heart.

Lucky you! Maybe the Gotbit gods will do the same for me. 😉 But Amazon has already promised that my new One will arrive by Wednesday. 😊 I haven't been able to shake the feeling that mine is going to turn up even though I lost it at work and my workplace covers a few acres.

I just got a silicone wrist band for my Fitbit One. Can I wear it on my right wrist or must I wear it only on my left wrist? Thanks
