Moto G (2015) drains battery quickly

Hi all:

I guess my setup is rather unique, but I wanted to know if anyone has a similar setup and if you guys experience the same issue.

I recently changed my cellphone and have a Moto G 3rd gen (2015). I know it is not in the supported list of devices, but wanted to give it a try anyway.

It worked just fine, though the All-day sync was on by default which I disabled after one day maybe when I realized it was like this. My One works as expected, but the battery is drained super fast (it lasts about 1.5 days).

I tried several things without any positive results (resetting the One, restoring the Moto G to factory defaults -without reinstall my apps and settings, so it wouldn't remember my One), not installing the Fitbit App, installing it.

The only way to prevent the battery drain is to keep the Bluetooth off on my phone (not really an option for me, as I use other BT devices all day long).

I know this might look related more to the BT radio on the Moto G, but I do not believe it's the case since my other Bluetooth devices (which I also have the whole day connected, included a Pebble smartwatch and a Plantronics headset) have seen no impact on their battery performance (their batteries perfom about the same level, or a bit better, than with my previous phone).

Please let me know if you have seen a similar issue and if you managed to alleviate the issue.

Thank you!

It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community @fedeg!

It's a shame that your battery is not lasting as it should allow me to help, you have already  tried several troubleshooting steps but I suggest checking this article, you might find it helpful, if the issue persists I recommend you contacting the support team so they can review your options.

Hope it helps, let me know how it goes!
