Need to charge more often

My Fitbit One is over 2 years old, and has typically held a charge for about a week and a half. Now suddenly it only lasts about 2 or 3 days. I don't see other posts with same circumstances. Wondering if it's because the Fitbit is old, the battery is worn out.

My fitbit one is eleven months old. I've used it every day and in the beginning it held it's charge for 1.5 weeks, then it became weekly. More recently I've had to charge it daily, and today it had to be charged twice. I've checked the contacts and they look clean. I haven't gotten it wet since the first week when it accidentally went through the washer and dryer and won all kinds of badges on it's own. I still have the receipt and wrote fitbit tonight. Waiting to see what they say. It seems a little expensive to be disposable after a year.
