No power on half battery

The last few weeks my One has been dying on half a battery.  I have to then restart it by holding the on button.  I've stopped getting the email to say charge up.  I'm loosing a days at a time. Anyone got any suggestions on how to resolve this. Thanks

How old is it? They do not last forever.

 

 

But try these steps and see if it helps

Please clean the contacts

Then Do a Restart
