No steps recording in dadhboard

My Fitbit one for the last two days has recorded 0 steps on both I phone and I pad app. Steps are showing on the actual device. So far I have shut down phone completely, turned off Bluetooth, logged off fit bit and back on again by following the suggestions on help forum as it seems many people are having the same problem. What next? I don't want to lose my data from the last 18months.

Btw. It just says 'looking' the whole time. My husband's Fitbit is working fine and we are using the same wifi.

Hi @Helzebel. The tip about Bluetooth is about turning it OFF and then back ON after 20 seconds or so. You need to have Bluetooth enabled in order for the Fitbit app to work.

Then I would suggest restarting your Fitbit One using the instructions in How do I restart my tracker , holding the button down a little longer, perhaps 20 seconds or so, until you get to see Fitbit 6.60 show up on your One's display.

Hopefully, the restart will do the trick. If not, try deleting the app from your phone; and download and install the latest version.

Don't worry about your 18 months of data. All your data, up to and including your last successful sync, is tied to your account at www.fitbit.com. And your One has on-board memory sufficient to retain all your data for 30 days (7 days minute-by-minute, and 23 days with daily total only.)

You may also want to take a look at this help document which offers other syncing troubleshooting tips:

http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/I-can-t-sync-my-tracker/?q=cannot+sync&l=en_US&fs....

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes. Cheers!
