Hello there, I've had my FitBit One for 3 years now but it's the first time I'm writing here.
So I recently bought a magnetic treadmill (the one that doesn't require electricity since it creates resistance using magnetic force and works with the power of your own forward movement when you walk/jog). When I use it, my FitBit One tracks my steps just fine, but it doesn't register any active minutes. Yet, it's a pretty hard workout that makes me sweat a lot and feel sore in just 20 minutes, even at the lower resistance. At the same time, if I walk outside for like 1 hour at the same pace I don't get as tired and sweaty yet I get 60 active minutes tracked. I am guessing it doesn't track active minutes properly because of the resistance that makes it harder for me to walk/jog but that it has no idea of?
Any tips to get active minutes tracked properly so I can have a more realistic calorie count? I usually clip it on my pants or keep it inside my pants' pocket. Thanks!

Hi, @Seitanista! I'm glad you haven't had to use the forums until now! It's not a perfect solution, but you could log it as an exercise, rather than just relying on the steps.
