Question about FB1

I am wanting to reset everything to zero and start on Monday. This is not working for me.

I put my Fitbit on my counter yesterday so there would be no readings today and it is showing I have burned over 700 calories. How can that be if Im not wearing it?

Is there a way to completely reset to zero? I know you can delete the FB1 but when I did that it would not let me add it back to my account. I had to create another email account in order to start over.

The calories burned are BMR calories. Your fitbit also calculates calories burned for your BMR. You burn calories just by being alive! Even Sleeping. Fitbit includes these burned calories in it's calorie calculations, so even if you did not wear the fitbit, you'll still burn these calories.

My other question is I noticed my calorie intake left goes up after I do more steps. I'm assuming it's because I'm burning calories. (I did not know I could burn so many calories doing a desk job and sleeping). Do I need to eat more food to stay in range or is it okay to eat less? I'm not hungry at bedtime and it says I'm below range.
