Why is my One recording data and I haven't used it yet?  Gives me data for a week and told me congrats I have walked 10,000 steps. Still on my counter.

You can enter a driving record and it can remove the steps

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/Can-I-delete-data

 

If it does not work You can Contact Support and they can get rid of the steps for you. Make sure to have them remove the badge as well
