One of the reasons I bought this gadget a couple of days ago was because I thought it could monitor the basic quality of your sleep e.g. register movements that might indicate sleep apnoea or other sleep disturbances. However all it seems to do is record when I tell it I am going to sleep and when I tell it I wake up. If that is all it does then why bother wearing it at night? Am I missing something or just getting it all wrong?

When you open the dashboard be sure your One has synced each morning, then you select the sleep tile, select the date you want to look at & you should see a graph of your sleep pattern.

My sleep tracking shows long periods of sleep interspersed with shorter periods of restlessness (blue lines) & sometimes periods of wakefulness (red lines). It isn't sophisticated enough to show apnea specifically but red lines/wakefulness might be linked to apnea. Maybe you are sleeping ok. Or if concerned about apnea need to see a sleep specialist & have a home study done.
