Tracking incline on treadmill

My Fitbit one doesn't register incline on the treadmill. Outside, no problem, I get staircases for going up big hills. But at the gym, I can do 10 minutes at 10+ incline, and it only registers the steps. I'd like to get credit for the additional work, anyone else having this problem? Solutions?

@Aeh2122,

Fitbits only register a flight up stairs upon changing elevation by 10 feet.  So even if you're walking/running at an incline, you don't actually change elevation.  Same is true about Stairmasters.

I hope this helps.
