The sleep record for one of my days was cut short. Apparently I accidentally pressed the button to cause my One to stop recording sleep while I was still in bed. Then when I woke up in the morning, I hit the button to stop tracking sleep (which started tracking sleep again). That seems to have caused a problem for that day's sleep record. I know the times to enter, so I deleted the sleep record so that I could manually enter the sleep times. But the system won't let me enter the time I “Entered bed" and the time I “Left bed.”
Each time I attempt to enter the times, I get the following error message: There is already a sleep during the time period you tried to create the new sleep.
Does anyone know a workaround for this?

Thanks again. Actually, I had only used my computer to both delete and mannually log my sleep. So I used my iPhone this time, and my split sleep records for that day were still showing. I deleted them and input them manually using my phone, and everything's good now. I had thought syncing would have taken care of that, but I guess not. Now I know. I really appreciate the help.

Welcome to the Community @markebryan! Normally that message appears when your sleep was recorded during the time you are trying to enter, so in other words, it seems like your sleep was correctly tracked. However if it doesn't appear on your account, could you please try to out and log back in to your account? and then sync again.
Let me know the outcome!

Thanks, HeydyFitbit. I logged out and back in, and I'm getting the same message: "There is already a sleep during the time period you tried to create the new sleep." Since I'd experienced a break in my sleep that day (apparently by accidentally stopping and then restarting sleep tracking), I deleted my sleep for that day. That's why the message that I already have a sleep confuses me (since I manually deleted it). Thanks again, Mark

Thanks for your response @markebryan! Did you try to log your sleep on your computer as well? if so, are you getting the same error?
Let me know!

Thanks for the update @markebryan! Sounds pretty good that you were able to correctly log your sleep with your iPhone, I knew that will help! And I appreciate you shared this, I'm pretty sure this will help other users that are having the same issue, to resolve it.
Let me know if you have additional questions!
