Water damage on Fitbit One

So, I did a load of laundry and forgot that my Fitbit One was still clipped onto one of my tops. It still turns on okay, and it can still track everything. The problem is the incessant buzzing. It just will occasionally stop vibrating for short periods of time, but 99% of the time, it's buzzing. I gave it some time to dry, and I even tried resetting it by plugging it into the computer and holding the button until it turned off, but it just won't stop. It's also feeling a little warm.

Hi @KitKatBlackCat  try putting your One into a bowl of dry rice for two days or so. You'll want to gt the moisture out of it before charging it. Sometimes these survive the washing machine and often they don't make it. See if getting the moisture out helps.

@KitKatBlackCat don't attempt to charge a damaged tracker, especially if it's warm, it could result in a cell fire. Did you try @Odyssey13's suggestion on the bowl of rice? Personally, I prefer to use desiccate packets (the moisture-absorbing pillows that come in consumer products) in a mylar bag following air-blasting if anything electronic is water impacted. Something is causing an unnecessary connection between your battery and the vibration module (which is right next to the battery connections).
