Where is "Log >Activity>Activity Menu"?

Hi

My first post.

I am trying to delete 43,500 steps from my new Fitbit One, which I set up today. How these got there is a mystery. Seems Fitbit makes it difficult as there is no 'delete steps' function. Daft on first impressions.

I have looked at other posts, and they all lead to a Help Page where I am told to go to Dashboard>Log>Activity and enter 'Driving' in the appropriate times. But where does it say Log>Activity???

I have Dashboard, with 'Today' on it. If I click on 'Steps' and click on today's date, I can see the Steps for each hour, but I can see nowhere to get into this to edit 'Driving'. I've tried double-click and right-click on the column and the chart, but can't see how to get to the Activity Menu.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Thanks

Derek

Hello @DerekCull,

Welcome to the community!

The page you need to get to is your activity page.  You may get to it from your dashboard by:

  • Clicking on "Log" along the top of the page, then click on "Activities".
  • Hover over the "Today" tile, and click on the "See more..." option on the lower right.

Once on the activity page:

  1. Go to the very bottom of the page.
  2. Under "Log Activies", type "Driving".
  3. Click on the "Driving+" activity that it finds.
  4. Enter the activity.

I hope this helps.

On my Dashboard page I have 'Challenges', 'Friends', 'Notifications' and 'Account'; I just cannot see 'Log'!! Am I just being completely stupid, or what? 🙂

Hold everything.

I clicked on your Highlighted 'Dashboard' in your message and got to a Fitbit webpage, where I can now see what you described. I was viewing everything from my App login view and not the Fitbit webpage view.

Sorry for being a bit slow. Now to try the recommended remedy.

Many thanks

Derek

@DerekCull,

Oh, I didn't realize you were referring to the Fitbit App.  You may also do that from the Fitbit App though you navigate to it differently:

  1. On your dashboard, tap on your exercise tile.
  2. Click on the "+" to add a new manual activity.
  3. Type 'Driving', tap on the result.
  4. Enter the details.

I hope this helps.

The links provided to "Dashboard" images in the posts above appear to be obsolete as of 3/2020. The "LOG"  tab is no longer there.

@SunsetRunner  Are you using the App or the website? Makes a big difference in how to help you.

You also pulled a a post from 2016. Things change a lot in that time

The Post above are correct. For Computer Log is there

Hello @Flintridge,

Welcome to the community!

I'm running Android, but I think it's very similar.  Try this:

  1. Launch the Fitbit App.
  2. Scroll down the main page, to where it says "Start logging your food".
  3. Tap on the '+' to add a log.
  4. Type the item description or if a commercial item, you can even scan the UPC code.
  5. Enter serving size and meal.
  6. Tap on "Log This" or "Log & Add More".

I hope this helps.

Hi PureEvil,

Thank you, but for for me there is no option like that at least not then.  I did scroll down and found this thing called discover.  I clicked it and it had all kinds of options to add.  An at the very bottom of that, there is was, so I clicked it.  Now on my main page is the option to add food.

@Flintridge,

It sounds like you first needed to enable the tile and then the option showed up on your dashboard.  I trust you have things working to your satisfaction?
