Why track floors if it doesn't impact calorie burn?

Seems misleading. What's the point if it doesn't impact burn? I don't really care, I don't climb many stairs, it's just weird.

I agree this is weird. They have the capability to adjust calories but choose not to. I wonder if this is to ensure those fitbits with floor tracking compare equally with those that don't have it.
