Apparently I cannot get the app on my iphone (I thought I had ios8, but iTunes says otherwise), so I registered on my Mac. All went well, but the time zone has not corrected, despite multiple tries. I followed the instructions - dashboard, gear icon, settings, modify time, save. That all works, but then the instruction is to "force sync tracker" by first clicking "fitbit connection icon," then clicking "sync now." I cannot find the fitbit connect icon!! What does it look like? Thanks for any help!

Hi @currynrice. Tap on Launchpad, then tap on Fitbit Connect. When the window pops open, select Sync Now. That's one way of doing it. But depending how your Desktop is organized, you should also have the Fitbit icon showing up at the top right of your screen. Tapping it also offers the Sync Now option.
So yes, once you make a chance in settings, you not only have to save your change but also have to force a sync, otherwise the change will not take effect. If, following a successful sync, the time is still wrong on your Fitbit One, go back in Settings and change the time zone to something completely different. Again save and force a sync; and check your One's display to see if the time change was done. Then go back in Settings one more time, hopefully the last one, and change it back to the correct time zone, making sure to save and force a sync again.
Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Tandem Walker: Thank you for your response. I now have the time set, though it is set for CA summer time, not winter time! Still, I'll accept that. I did find that my One had not synced properly from the start, so that might have had something to do with my problem. One thing I could not do was "force sync," as I still can't find where to do this. I now understand the Fitbit better as a result of trying many solutions, so that is a plus! Thanks again.

Hi again @currynrice and welcome - I'm glad that you found my post helpful.
The change to Daylight Saving Time should happen automatically when the time zone is correctly set, as explained in the following help document - Wrong time. If it didn't it may be because of the forced sync.
On your desktop, you should see the Launchpad icon (it looks like a rocket). When you click on it, a window opens up showing icons for all the apps that you have on your Mac; one of them is Fitbit Connect. If you click on it, this window opens up:
Is this not what you get? The other way of forcing a sync is to click on the Fitbit icon at the top right of your screen:
That first icon on the left is the Fitbit Connect icon. Clicking on it offers a number of options, one of which is Sync Now.
Regarding the change to DST, I think it might fix itself the day following the change you made. If not, it may be because you didn't force a sync. So what you might have to do is change the time zone again to something completely different, save and force a sync; and then change it back again to your locale, save and force sync.
Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.
