duplicate entries for fitbit calorie adjustment in exercise in fitness pal

Since about the beginning of the new year, my fitbit calorie adjustment in fitness pal is giving me duplicate entries (times 3!), grossly increasing the calories remaining.  I have been manually deleting, but am searching for the reason why.

this has been happening since october of last year for me. i have not found a reason why or how to make it stop.
