I have the Iphone x and I was told that the iphone is draining the battery on my One. If I log out of the app on my phone will that take care of the problem? do I need to log out of the app on my phone or can I just  close the app when not using and will that take care of the problem? how will I be notified when this issue is fixed?

The phone is not draining the battery on the One. The battery may be starting to fail as lithium ion batteries lose their ability to hold a charge over a period of time. You can limit the number of times the phone tries to sync by turning all day or auto sync off in the app. Then just do manual syncs when you need to.
