I'm sorry but I do not quite understand your question.
If your friends are on your main dashboard you should see the steps.
They do not carry over to the community app on your Phone if that's what you are asking.
Can you provide a screen shot?

Best AnswerI've been seeing exactly the same thing. My own steps update, but the total in the Friends ranking rarely changes. Yesterday after my own steps were showing about 14,000 for the day, my total in the Friends listing was the same as it had been first thing in the morning, with none of those steps having been accounted for. Which of course makes it impossible to have any sense of competition with friends.
There are also quite a few reports of this problem elsewhere in the Help Forums. It's another example of why there are so many frustrated Fitbit users abandoning the company.
Best AnswerThank you for your response. I thought this only happened to me! My steps finally added up in the friends listing later in the day. Quite frustrating as I had tried syncing up multiple times prior to that.
Best AnswerYou're definitely not the only one, and none of the normal troubleshooting worked: closing and reopening the app, syncing on a different device, etc. etc.
