For the last few days i have spent 40 minutes daily on the tread mill. My steps are counted but it only registers as 13 , or 20 minutes of exercise. How do I get my fitbit to account for the full 40 mins. It used be accurate

@jaciem Thanks for joining the Fitbit family! The best thing to do for that kind of activities is to manually log it. You can do this on both the online dashboard and the app. This option is great as it will give you accurate data. You can actually input the distance the treadmill is giving for more accuracy.

Try that option and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

@jaciem Thanks for your reply! To manually log an activity on the Fitbit app for Windows Phone, do the following:

  • Open the Fitbit app.
  • Tap the Exercise tile to open your exercise history. It is the one that says "Track Exercise".
  • Tap the "+" icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • Adjust the activity details and save.

That should allow you to manually log the activity.
