"Target" explanation

Hi! Can someone please tell me what it means to be within the target range for calories for the day? If I want to lose weight at a rate of a 500 calorie deficit for the day, should being in the middle of the "target" range give me this deficit? Or do I need to be 500 calories below the target range? I'm pretty sure it's the former and the tracker is taking the desired deficit into account, but it seems important enough to double check. Thanks 🙂

Hi, @ILoveMyTracker! In the zone does indeed factor in the deficit you are aiming for. If you are in the zone, you are meeting your target within +-40 calories, I believe.
