I have a fit bit one, in the morning I turn off the sleep mode and it always comes up with me having taken over a hundred steps already, without even moving the tracker. How do I stop this so I can start my day on zero steps

Moving around while sleeping will add steps. Is it really that much?

I agree with @WendyB
Any movement between midnight and waking up runs the risk of being misinterpreted as steps (or correctly interpreted in the case of a bathroom visit).
If your daily target is set to the default 10,000 then a hundred or so will not make a great difference. Consider it a head start! Besides, there's not really a lot you can do about it short of not tracking your sleep and not wearing your tracker at night.

Can be up to two hundred steps. Doesn't really matter, it's just annoying when it suppose to be in sleep mode and i didn't have the trouble with the last fitbit one I had (that I lost hence the new one)
