15 months and Fitbit strap connector broken

I bought the Fitbit Charge 4 January 2021 and now the connector to strap is broken so I can't use it. I've seen this is a known issue. It's a design flaw in my opinion.  The item should either be fixed free of charge or replaced. To have this happen after just 14-15 months is ridiculous.

I had this problem. Called them, sent them pics, they sent me a replacement piece. Found it wasn't a new replacement, was refurbished, country of origin was shown as Vietnam. Have had it around 2 weeks and the battery is not the best either. Needs charging about every 3 days. Don't think I'll stick long term with Fitbit. Not impressed with app this week either.

Well I just finished arguing with the fellow on Twitter where I was told I could send a direct message and this is the final outcome despite telling him I would never buy another Fitbit and I'm disappointed.  I will never buy another now for sure.  I was offered the 35% discount.  As if I'd even buying another Fitbit now.
