How on earth do fitbit get away with products that are so poorly designed that for 1 type (charge 2) there are 811 pages of queries!

After the usual 6 failed attempts to sync, when it did eventually sync 20 minutes later, I recently minimised my options to just show the clock, heart rate, and battery. When I next looked at the watch, fitbit have sneakily added another menu item -  a game ! WHY?? I don't want a game, I didn't ask for a game, but fitbit are imposing a game on my watch. I cannot turn it off, its not listed in the menu items.

What a piece of utter garbage.

The game is a bonus given for reaching your goal for the day. It was added after many thousands of votes requesting a game. 

A simple search of the board would have answered this. 

 

As for 811 pages, yes the Charge 2 was released 5 years ago. May of 2015

Please also be aware that the community help board is setup so fellow users can help each other. 

Also in general only people who need help will post a message. 

 

Do a search on Google for truck accidents. Did you know that you get hundreds of pages on truck accidents I'm convinced that every truck will hit me if I try to go by. I've driven trucks with 3 million miles and have never had an accident. 

 

Also probably 75% of the posts would have been easily prevented if the poster used the search option first. 

 

On one board today I combined 4 threads with the same question all posted within 20 minutes. The later 3 could have simply subscribed to the thread. 

We also have the user manual and the online searchable interactive help docs. 

In short, the reason for so many pages is because users do not use the troubleshooting tools that are available to them. 

 

As for the sync issue, if your looking for help, a search of your phone model, or at least include the phone model in your post would be very helpful.
