A Charge 2 for my daughter

My 15 year daughter bought a Charge 2, but we cannot get it to work. She cannot create an own account, but I have to create a parent account first. Why on earth!? Now after spending quite some time on creating a child account for her, it says she needs a Ace device that supports child accounts. What should I do? I have to say that I am not very happy with how this has been going? Quite poor customer experience so far!

Did you enter her birth date correctly when setting up her account? It will only do this if it detects that she is under 13.

@JanSandbacka Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! As @SunsetRunner explained Fitbit devices are designed to be worn by people 13 years of age or above in the US. In Europe due to local regulations the age required is 16. This is why the Ace was released for users 8 years of age and above.

Let me know how it goes!
